Everyone loves a competition, right? Well, enduro fans Rainer Elgbacka and his brother certainly do! At the AIRMOUSSE EnduroGP of Sweden, they were the lucky winners of a social media competition organised by Borilli Tyres, together with the FIM EnduroGP World Championship and former world champion Alex Salvini.
Welcomed to the FIM hospitality suit during both days of the competition by Borilli athlete Salvini, the Elgbacka brothers were firstly given a deep dive into the inner workings of the Italian’s S2 Motorsports Team before heading to the event’s special tests. There, Salvini was able to share his experience and knowledge, answering questions, explaining race tactics, and generally offering advice to Rainer and his brother.
When back in the paddock, making full use of the FIM hospitality, the brothers were given a signed number plate from Salvini having spent a thoroughly enjoyable weekend with S2 Motorsports Team owner.
“It was a fantastic day, and great for me to spend time with true enduro fans, answering questions and generally helping Rainer and his brother get closer to EnduroGP,” commented Salvini. “Enduro is a complex but amazing sport, being able to show fans a little of what happens from the inside is so important.”
Following the success of the Borilli social media competition at the AIRMOUSSE EnduroGP of Sweden, the Borilli FIM EnduroGP World Championship is running similar contest at the remaining rounds of the series.
