The young English talent (born in 2000) originally from the Isle of Man, will take part in the Enduro World Championship in the Youth class riding the new Fantic XE 125 two stroke with the motorcycle club Sicily Racing Motorsport.
ETCHELLS already raced several GP’s in the past like in Hawkstone Park 2017 or also France 2019 where he scored a brilliant podium on Day 2 in Junior 2. He also participated to the Six Days in Portugal as a member of the Junior team. But his best results has been his European title in the J2/J3 category last season…
The Brit will arrive in Italy in early February to join his new teammates, Giuliano MANCUSO and Hugo SVARD. He will be for sure one of the main favorites for the Youth 125cc title!
Marco D’ARPA: “I am happy with Jed’s arrival in the team. Together with Hugo we present a team of athletes who will have their say in the World Championship, I expect a lot from them because they are guys who have not yet expressed their full potential. They will be followed by Giuliano Mancuso during their stay in Italy and along the various stages of the world championship. We also expect good results from Giuliano because 2020 can represent for him the year of full maturity (after two years spent in the north).”
Marco D’ARPA has made an interesting line-up to bring the Fantic on top of the Youth class. SVARD and ETCHELLS will fight together for the top honors in the under 21 y.o class.
