After finishing 3rd overall in the EnduroGP category in 2019, Danny MCCANNEY was one of the most coveted riders on the market, and despite TM Racing offering him a contract extension, Honda RedMoto Racing finally won the ‘bidding war’ and the Italian squad now add another very strong rider to their books.
The Manxman is likely to line-up with the CRF 450RX, the seat left vacant by Christophe CHARLIER (F). This would mean that MCCANNEY, last year’s E3 Vice-Champion, would switch to Enduro 2 in 2020 – becoming one of the main rivals of his former teammate and reigning World Champion, Loïc LARRIEU (F – TM)!

There was a lot of buzz surrounding Honda RedMoto during this off-season, and with this latest signing that looks set to continue! Potentially a very astute move by Team Manager, Matteo BOFFELLI, who very much wants to bring the Japanese band a World Title.
