The rumors have been circulating for a while, and it has now been confirmed, a historic Enduro brand is returning to the fore – Fantic Motor will be back in the FIM Enduro World Championship in 2020!
It is through the team D’ARPA Racing that the Italian brand will return to EnduroGP after nearly 7 years of absence! Well known in the Italian Enduro Championship, this Sicilian team, managed by the passionate Marco D’ARPA, has already had impressive results in the national championships, and they have also featured as wildcards in the world championship from time to time. But for the very first time in history, they will tackle the entirety of the World Championship representing the Fantic colors!
So D’ARPA went looking for new young recruits. Deciding on Finland’s Hugo SVÄRD to fight for the team in the 125cc Youth category with the brand new Fantic XE 125. They will be aiming high with the talented Scandinavian, hoping for podiums and wins with the former Johansson MPE rider, who finished 6th place in the class this year.
Marco D’ARPA will also count on young Italian talent Riccardo FABRIS (I), who will also be present for the entire World Championship in the 125cc Youth category.
The arrival of new teams such as the D’ARPA Racing Team proves that the FIM Enduro World Championship still holds great interest among all lovers of the discipline, and the return of a historic and distinguished manufacturer such as Fantic Motor adds a little more spice to paddock life for the 2020 season!
