As part of FIM’s Sustainability Week, the EnduroGP community—including athletes, industry leaders, and fans – join forces to showcase the power of sport as a means of change and environmental protection.
Through innovation, collaboration, and advocacy, EnduroGP continues to evolve into a more sustainable discipline, proving that motorsport can drive positive impact at all levels.
Prime Stadium, the promoter of Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship and winner of the 2025 FIM Sustainability Trophy, has played a pivotal role in shaping this transformation. In close cooperation with the Enduro Commission (CED) and the International Sustainability Commission (CID), they have championed initiatives that strengthen ecological responsibility within the sport.
For the first time, we present the inspiring story of EnduroGP’s sustainability journey through an exclusive video featuring the voices of Josep García (5x FIM Enduro World Champion), Andrea Verona (7x FIM Enduro World Champion), and Kyron Bacon, a rising star of the discipline. These athletes embody the essence of responsible riding and environmental stewardship, sending a powerful message to the entire Enduro community.
From sound-level regulations and the introduction of the FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship to sustainable forest management and positive contributions to local communities, EnduroGP continues to set the benchmark for responsible motorsport. This celebration of Sustainability Week reinforces the crucial role of athletes, organisers, and participants in shaping a more sustainable future for the sport.
John Collins Enduro Commission Director stated: “Enduro is more than just a championship – it’s a sport embraced by thousands of riders every weekend. To ensure the future of our discipline, we need every participant, not just the professionals, to join our efforts toward sustainability. Responsible behaviour is key, and the voices of our athletes play a crucial role in inspiring positive change across all levels of the sport.”
Jesús López Notario International Sustainability Commission bureau member and liaison with Enduro Commission said: “Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to enhance the operations of our championship in close collaboration with the promoter and teams. Through this journey, I have witnessed the vital role of innovation and the strong commitment of paddock users to elevate Enduro into a more professional and responsible sport. Enduro is growing, and with it, the engagement of brands eager to support and promote sustainable practices within the discipline. From the CID, we proudly present this video – a reflection of the collective efforts and progress made throughout the years in driving Enduro towards a more sustainable and forward-thinking future.”
Carla Alvarenga Prime Stadium General Manager added: “For EnduroGP, sustainability is not just a choice – it is the foundation upon which the future of our sport depends. As with all human activities, we recognise that our operations have an environmental impact. Our mission is to minimise negative effects while actively enhancing the positive contributions of EnduroGP to nature and society. To achieve this, we collaborate closely with the FIM Enduro Commission (CEN) and the FIM Sustainability Commission (CDI), ensuring that our approach to sustainability is both strategic and effective. Through this partnership, we can implement measurable, impactful solutions that safeguard our sport for future generations.”
“We are proud to present this Sustainability Awareness Video as part of FIM Sustainability Week, reinforcing our commitment to responsible sporting practices. In addition, we are excited to announce our participation in World Environment Day with a dedicated campaign aligned with the event’s key theme. By embracing sustainability at the core of EnduroGP, we continue to lead by example – advancing environmental responsibility while ensuring the endurance and resilience of our sport.”
