The first three rounds of the 2024 series provided no shortage of entertainment. In the EnduroGP class, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia leads the championship standings with a nine-point advantage over GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona, who took his first overall win in Romania. Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team’s Steve Holcombe had a strong start to his 2024 campaign, leading the championship after the opening two rounds, but now lies in third overall.
The GALFER FIM Junior Enduro World Championship has witnessed an exciting battle between countrymen Axel Semb and Max Ahlin. The Swedes have been racing fiercely since the beginning of the season, but it is Semb who leads the standings by a commanding 14 points. In the Enduro Youth category, Italy’s Alberto Elgari topped the podium both days in Bacau to take over the lead in the championship from Manuel Verzeroli, who had a perfect weekend in Valpacos for round two.
Despite only completing two rounds so far, the Women’s class has been incredibly competitive, with three different victors crowned over the four days raced. However, it is RIEJU Factory Racing’s Mireia Badia who is ahead, followed by Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team’s Francesca Nocera and Team KBS Sherco’s Rachel Gutish, who are equal on points.
