With the first races of the 2021 Enduro World Championship approaching, the Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team is getting ready with a line-up that mixes experience and young talent.
Thomas Oldrati, Theo Espinasse, and Roni Kytonen will defend the Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team colours in the upcoming 2021 season – a three-rider squad that aims to put the Japanese brand back on the top of the podium in both the senior and junior classes.
Team leader and most experienced rider, Oldrati, will step up to E2 on a CRF450RX after many years racing in the E1 class where he was vice champion two times, as well as finishing third twice. Nevertheless, even if he has spent the last years in the smallest capacity class, he’s no novice in the E2 category as he finished third in 2010 when he was racing for the KTM factory team.
Theo Espinasse will support Oldrati in the senior classes racing in E1 with a RedMoto Honda CRF250RX. Espinasse has ridden for Sherco Factory Team since the start of his enduro career in 2017, and after finishing second in the Junior World Championship in 2019 and 2020 he has decided to step up the challenge and aim for the ‘big boy’s’ categories with the Italian Honda team.
After clinching the Enduro Junior 1 title and finishing third overall in the Junior last season, Roni Kytonen will embark on his second season inside the Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team. The Finnish youngster will once again race the CRF250RX in the J1 class where he’ll aim to go gone higher and grab the class, and overall titles.
